This privacy policy applies to all users of the Bramol mobile application and any related digital services we offer. It covers how we collect, use, store, and share information obtained through your use of our platform. By using Bramol, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect information that you actively provide to us when you use Bramol's core features:

• Account information you provide when you create a profile (name, email address, login credentials)
• All gear details you add to your inventory: brand, model, purchase date, maintenance records, photos, and custom notes
• Adventure log data: route tracks, location coordinates, trip duration, photos, notes, and mileage you log during your paddling trips
• Expedition plan details: destination, itinerary, gear checklists, and collaborator information you add when planning future trips
• Any information you provide when you contact our support team for help

We also automatically collect limited information to keep our app working properly:

• Device information (device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers)
• Usage data (app launch frequency, features you use most, crash logs to improve performance)
• Location data (only if you grant permission, to track your trip routes and log adventure locations)

3. How We Use Your Information

We only use your information to deliver and improve the Bramol experience you expect:

• Sync your gear inventory, adventure logs, and expedition plans across all your devices
• Send you personalized reminders for gear maintenance, upcoming trips, or safety updates relevant to your planned destinations
• Troubleshoot app issues, improve performance, and develop new features that the Bramol community asks for
• Protect the security of your account and prevent fraud or abuse of our service

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for commercial marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:

5. Your Rights & Control Over Your Data

You retain full control over your personal data at all times. You can:

• Access, edit, or delete any of your gear information, adventure logs, or expedition plans at any time directly through the app
• Export all of your personal data in a common, portable format for your own backup
• Delete your entire Bramol account and all associated data permanently with a single click in the app settings
• Revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings (note that this will disable route tracking functionality)
• Opt out of non-essential communications from us at any time

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We understand that your adventure memories and gear records are irreplaceable, so we implement industry-standard encryption, regular backups, and ongoing security updates to keep your information safe. No method of digital storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to maintain the highest level of security for your data.

7. Children's Privacy

Bramol is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take immediate steps to delete the information from our systems.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or our service. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy, and notify you of material changes through an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of Bramol after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
